La Costa Mexican Sports Bar & Grill

I have been here a dozen times and am surprised to see the low ratings. Every dish I have every gotten has been solid. My favorite factor about this place is Taco Tuesdays ($1 street tacos) and the Margarita (my favorite cocktail) is the best in the city that I can find. We avoid this place later on Tuesdays or if there is a DJ as they do play the music very loud and that is not our scene. For those that like to dance and party, it will work great but like any bar atmosphere that has loud music, it can be difficult to hear each other. I love the garage doors on the front that open up to the sidewalk when the weather is nice.

Taco Tuesday, $1.00 tacos! This place is the bomb. La Costa has a Dj come in at 8pm on Tuesday and he tears it up. Billy is my server every Tuesday, great guy and a MARINE VETERAN, which is a plus because I have a lot of respect for the military. Awesome guy, goes out his way to make sure your taken care of. And honestly all the other servers as well. The owners have really done an excellent job with this place. The atmosphere, the food, the music, just great all around. Love this place!

They have karaoke Friday nights! The food was really good. I was a bit put off at first since the waiter implied we got that guac and chips even after we told her no, but at the end I was glad she did because it tasted really good.
